Our Story
Readers Tavern didn't begin as a grand plan — it began as a favor. My wife wanted a simple app for her book club: an easy place where they could suggest books, discuss them, leave their own ratings, and track their reading journeys together. So I built it for them.
After a while, they told me something I didn't expect — that every reader deserved the same joy they'd found, and that I should open it up to the world. So I shared it with friends, watched new little communities take root, and what started as a weekend favor grew into a mission.
We imagined a digital "tavern" — a place you could pull up a chair, grab a coffee (or maybe a tankard of ale 🍻), and chat with fellow travelers about your latest literary adventures.
